History
Seattle, WA is home to one of the most haunted places the world, Merchant's Café and Saloon Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.

In January of 2013, Amy and Steve from Dead Files paid a visit here! Established in 1890, the Merchant's Cafe and Saloon is said to be Seattle's oldest restaurant. The owner acknowledges her establishment is haunted by spirits that mean to cause her harm. Throung his thorough research, Steve discovers that on January 18, 1882 a lynch mob strung up two men who killed businessman George Reynolds. In addition, they hanged an innocent man called Payne. The original structure was later burned to the ground during the Great Seattle Fire on June 6, 1889, where many perished. John Ossner who then owned the property, turned the hotel into a brothel and it's basement saloon into a gambling den. Years later, in 1898, F.X. Schreiner took over the establishment, but his wife Mary, a devote Catholic opposed it. She later died from tuberculosis in 1905. With all this tragical history hidden with it's wall, Amy actually encountered and identified Mary's ghost. She also ran into a wrestler named Otto Hink, a bartender who died of syphilis in 1957. Can so many spooks fill one property?
